New ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Bar Coming to Walt Disney World
Nope, you didn’t read that wrong. Guests will soon be able to enjoy a drink just like they are in the Beast’s Castle when a Beauty and the Beast Bar opens at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Walt Disney World!
The new Beauty and the Beast Bar will open where Mizner’s Lounge and Commander Porter’s were located. Both have recently closed for renovations. Once reopened, the spaces will be magically transformed into spaces inspired by Belle and the Beast.
Per Disney, here are the official details for the Beauty and the Beast Bar:
The signature bar will glow from the light of a magnificent gold chandelier that takes its inspiration from Belle’s flowing ball gown, with subtle nods to the Beast’s magical rose. The formal library showcases classical baroque designs and French furnishings inspired by Belle, with hints of the Beast’s friends. The garden room will be a whimsical space that draws its inspiration from the enchanted forest surrounding Beast’s castle. And an outdoor patio will evoke the romance of Beast’s garden terrace.
The new Beauty and the Beast Bar isn’t the only new option coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! As we previously reported, a third location of the popular Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will also open this Summer at the iconic resort on the Seven Seas Lagoon.
I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait to explore this new Beauty and the Beast Bar! It will be the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and share a tale as old as time.
