Check Out Disney’s Awesome Line-Up of New Sweet Treats for April
It’s a new month Disney friends and you know what that means -it’s time for Disney to unveil some delicious new treats for April. This month you’ll find everything from a plethora of Briar Rose Gold Treats to tasty variations on the iconic Dole Whip. Bon Appetit!
Disney’s latest line of Briar Rose Gold merchandise has inspired Disney’s chefs to create a few new theme park treats. Some of our favorites are the Gold Cake Pop (pictured top) which you’ll find at various Disneyland Resort locations including Candy Palace, Trolley Treats, Marceline’s Confectionary and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff!
But the fun isn’t just limited to the West Coast. Over at Walt Disney World guests can get your rose gold fix with several options. Let’s start with Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort where you’ll find a Rose Gold Orange Cream Tart (above left) at the Marketplace at Ale & Compass as well as the neighboring Beach Club Marketplace. The tart features orange custard curd and is finished with a vanilla bean mousse and white chocolate glacage with marshmallows, raspberry white chocolate and a Briar Rose Gold Minnie bow.
But that’s not all when it comes to the Rose Gold Treats. Make a stop at the Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort to try out the Briar Rose Gold Raspberry Cake filled with vanilla custard. For those staying at one of the following on-site properties, you’ll also find a version of the Briar Rose Gold Cupcake at the food courts at Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Art of Animation, Pop Century, Port Orleans, Caribbean Beach Resort and Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. This version features a chocolate cupcake with a strawberry filling, buttercream frosting, a mini waffle cone and rose gold chocolate ears!
For the next lot of Briar Rose -inspired treats we head over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You’ll find this Rose Gold Brownie when you get your Starbucks fix at Creature Comforts. It’s topped with a strawberry mousse dome and white chocolate ears. While your there, save room to sample to gorgeous “Most Beautiful” treat inspired by one of the colorful murals you’ll find in the Harambe Market. This sweet treat is made up of delicious coconut cake a tangy pineapple center and topped with a creamy coconut mousse with a side of coconut crisps.
Next, we head over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for not one but two Rose Gold treats. For those with a sweet tooth, we recommend the Rose Gold Vanilla Cupcake filled with guava custard and topped with rose gold buttercream and fondant. It’s available at Capt. Cook’s. For those looking for a Rose Gold libation, make your first port-o-call the Oasis or Barefoot Pool Bars where they’re serving up the Rose Gold Sunset Margarita made with tequila, orange liqueur and flavors of mango, guava and ginger.
While you’re at the Polynesian Resort save some room for the new Te Fiti Cone being served up at Pineapple Lanai. It’s made with lime soft serve and is absolutely delicious. Adults will also love the Corazon Blanco Tequila Frozen Margarita blending with Dole Whip Lime. Yes! Please!
Rounding up or look at Disney’s awesome sweet treats for April are two might impressive cupcakes. The first is found at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort and comes with a big dose of nostalgia. The cupcake features Herbie the Love Bug and is made with devil’s food cake, chocolate mousse and white chocolate. You’ll find it at the food court until May 31st. In addition at All-Star Movies and All Star Music be on the lookout for this playful Tinker Bell cupcake made with chocolate cake, key lime filling, key lime buttercream, white chocolate fairy wings and a big dose of pixie dust!
