New Details Emerge for Kat Saka’s Kettle and Other Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Eateries
Here at MickeyBlog we love the details that are slowly emerging regarding the many shops and eateries that will be found at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when it opens later this Spring at Disneyland Resort and in August at Walt Disney World. Today Disney has released imagery and a few details for one of the snack options you’ll find at Batuu- Kat Saka’s Kettle!
The main image really gives a sense of the ambiance you’ll find in the bustling market district. Though little has been revealed regarding this exciting new kiosk. One thing is for certain. Kettle corn will be the order of the day!
This colorful snack shop will feature grains from all over the galaxy. Here guests can order a generous, piping hot helping of colorful and flavorful speciality popcorn. It makes the perfect treat as you explore Black Spire Outpost. Kat Saka’s will also offer beverages.
This is just one of the many shops and eateries Disney has given us a taste of over the past few weeks. Others include
Milk Stand
Visitors to this stall can order up a frosty confection. The vendors at this unusual stall are ready to serve travelers an invigorating, refreshing drink that’s a favorite among the locals! We know Luke Skywalker is a fan of this colorful concoction because we can see him enjoying a blue milk in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, and green milk in Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi.
Ronto Roasters
This exotic marketplace stall is the go-to spot for crews prepping for their next mission. Here you’ll find a hanging podracer engine that serves as a makeshift grill heating up a spit of meats. One of the meats on offer is the ronto – a massive beast native to the planet Tatooine. You can enjoy this exotic cuisine a variety of different ways. Roasters will also offer speciality beverages for you to enjoy while you explore the market.
Oga’s Cantina
This local cantina is the hangout for bounty hunters, smugglers, rogue traders and more. The venue will offer musical entertainment courtesy of a DJ R-3X Droid who used to be a former Starspeeder 3000 pilot. Oga’s specializes in fantastical drinks sourced with ingredients from across the galaxy. A diverse menu promises something for adventurers of all ages. Libations will feature awesome names like the Jedi Mind Trick and beer lovers will definitely want to sample the Bad Motivator IPA. Wine lovers are also well looked after with the Toniray Wine!
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Prepare your tastebuds for takeoff at this restaurant housed in a working hangar bay. Visitors can choose from a variety of dishes prepared with ingredients from across the galaxy. Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs has docked his food freighter loaded with fresh supplies and he’s ready to fill the tummies of visitors and locals alike. Travelers can expect an array of exotic offerings. The Docking Bay will also offer both inside or outside seating.
