New Dining Option Coming to the French Pavilion in Epcot
There are lots of exciting changes at Epcot on the horizon. Any change that includes the addition of food, I am extra excited about! That is why I am happy to report that a new table service and quick service dining option is coming to the French Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase and it involves one of France’s most notable food options – crepes!
The authentic Creperie will be located near the all-new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction that is currently under construction. Guests will also be delighted to hear that the same celebrity chef behind Chefs de France and Monsieur Paul, Jérôme Bocuse, will also be behind this new dining option in the French Pavilion. The food served will be inspired by the Brittany region of France and feature savory crepes called galettes and sweet crepes.
When the much-anticipated Reny’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction opens in the French Pavilion, Guests will shrink down to the size of Ratatouille and scurry to safety across the kitchen of Gusteau’s legendary Parisian restaurant. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and the new Creperie isn’t the only new offerings coming to the France Pavilion! A new “Beauty and the Beast” Sing-a-Long will be opening too – all in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary in 2021.
Also opening elsewhere in the park in time for Walt Disney’s World’s 50th Anniversary will be an all-new, one of a kind play area and the much-anticipated “Guardians of the Galaxy” roller coaster. Who knows, there might be even more surprises coming too!
With all the new options coming to Epcot, 2019 is also going to be the year we say “goodbye” to a fan favorite – “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.” The popular nighttime spectacular will be going dark towards the end of this Summer.
