Appetizing Events at Disneyland and Disney World This Spring
This month Disneyland and Disney World pull out all of the culinary stops providing visitors with a range of special dining experiences that can really enhance your visit! To give you a taste (excuse the pun) of some of the ways you can add some delicious eats to your Spring getaway check out some of our favorites!
2019 Disney Family of Wines Weekend at Disney’s Contemporary Resort – Walt Disney World Resort
If you love wines then you need to try some of the incredible selections from The Disney Family of Wines and this event is the perfect way to do so! The Disney Family of Wines Weekend includes a 2-night stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and a 3-day culinary experience. During the weekend guests will embark on an in-depth exploration of flavors and interact with a collection of wines produced by winemakers and wineries with a connection to Disney. Each of the vineyards has it’s own special tie to Disney’s past, present and future and can be found in many of the restaurants throughout the parks and resorts. The event will include special curated workshops, meetings with winemakers and delicious meals.
The Family of Wines Weekend takes place May 17-19 and can be booked by calling Disney Reservation Center at 407-939-4239. Reservations must be made by Friday, May 3, 2019.

The Wonderful World of Wine at Yachtsman Steakhouse – Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Walt Disney World Resort
But that’s not the only wine event coming to Disney World this Spring! The Yachtsman Steakhouse will be holding a Wonderful World of Wine Event the second Wednesday of every month. During this special evening, guests will sip and swirl your way through some of the world’s most renowned wine-growing regions. You’ll enjoy on samples from California, Italy, France, Chile and Australia and learn about flavor profiles, winemaking techniques and more from Advanced Sommelier Kristopher Soto. The class also includes a small tasting plate designed to pair perfectly with the wines on offer.

Mickey’s Soundsational Parade Plaza Inn Dining Packages at Disneyland Park
Combine a delicious Disneyland lunch with incredible views of “Mickey’s Soundsational Parade” with this awesome dining package. Mickey’s Soundsational Parade Plaza Inn Dining Package includes a delicious midday meal at Plaza Inn Restaurant and a voucher for reserved viewing for the parade. Adults can tuck into delicious dishes like Pork Chop with traditional BBQ sauce, Penne Pasta topped with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese or Apple Salad with green apples, blue cheese, chopped, walnuts and dried cranberries tossed in sweet apple vinaigrette. Each entree also comes with a fountain beverage, bottled water and petit apple salad (excluding Apple Salad entree), speciality mashed potatoes, a buttermilk biscuit, seasonal veggies and a slice of layer cake. The Kids Menu includes Chicken Tenders with mashed potatoes, veggies, applesauce or carrots and a slice of cake as well as lowfat milk or bottled water.
Guests can reserve your spot from 1:30-4 p.m. to pick up their meal and are welcome to dine at any available table at Plaza Inn Restaurant. The reserved viewing area will be available for the second show of the day if the parade is scheduled for two shows. Reservations will be available beginning March 12th, and may be made by visiting the Disneyland Resort website.
Sweet Sundays – 2019 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival at Disneyland Resort
One of the most popular events at Disney California Food & Wine Festival, Sweet Sundays are a great way to start off your day at California Adventure Park. During this special season event, guests will join a celebrated pastry chef for a desert-focused demonstration followed by an interview and a light brunch buffet featuring one of the chef’s delicious dishes. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn some culinary tricks-of-the-trade as you watch the chefs bake their signature dishes to perfection. The event happens on select Sundays between now and April 23rd from 11 am – 1pm. Here’s a quick look at the schedule.
