Disney’s Best Bites for March 2019
We are a few days into the month of March and in the Disney sphere this can only mean one thing- a brand new month of amazing eats and treats coming your way from the culinary geniuses at Disney’s theme parks and resorts. Let’s take a look at the goodies you’ll find on both coasts this month:
*NEW* Neighborhood Bakery Opens at Hollywood Studios
We start our list off with some exciting news! A new bakery has arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Be on the lookout for the Neighborhood Bakery which you’ll find at An Incredible Celebration on Pixar Place. This new eatery will be serving up super tasty treats inspired by everyone’s favorite superheroes. Savory bites include the limited-time Mask Pretzel (served with cheese) and the Incredible Hero Sandwich which comes with Italian meats and cheese and an olive tapenade. For a sweet treat try a warm Num Num Cookie or a Key Lime Pie on a stick.
If you’ve worked up a thirst in the Orlando heat, you’ll definitely want to pick up a blue raspberry Frozone Slush with whipped cream or the Secret Identity with frozen Coca-Cola and cherry cotton candy. Add the finishing touch with a Pixar-themed novelty straw.
*NEW Mac and Cheese Truck Comes to Disney Springs’ West Side
A brand new food truck will be pulling into Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort this month. The Mac & Cheese Truck will be serving up a selection of mouth-watering mac and cheese dishes. Menu options include Crunch Mac-N-Cheese with six different cheeses and topped crunch cheese puffs as well as the Bacon Cheeseburger Mac-N-Cheese with creamy cheddar and American cheese mixed with ground beef and topped with bacon, shredded lettuce, tomato, sliced pickles, ketchup, mustard and crispy potato sticks.

We round out our look at this tasty new menu with the Lobster and Shrimp Mac-N-Cheese made with cheddar and Swiss cheeses, buttery lobster, shrimp and crackers.
New Menu Item at B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co at Disney Springs
B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. has added some tasty new items to their menu. Be on the lookout for three new foot long hot dogs. These include a Hawaiian Island Dog topped with grilled pineapple, salsa, spam and Teriyaki, the New York Pastrami Rueben Dog topped with shaved pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing and the Texas Chili Cheese Dog topped with chilli, cheddar cheese, and corn crisps. Can’t decide which one to choose? Try the Three Little Pigs Hot Dog Sampler and choose three mini versions of the speciality dogs above.
But that’s not all! Other additions to the menu include a new Italian Sausage Dog topped with sauteed peppers and onions and marinara, the Lamb Sausage Dog with tomato chutney, yogurt sauce and arugula served on pita bread and the Bratwurst Sausage Dog served with sauerkraut and German mustard on a pretzel roll. Vegetarians will also be pleased to know that there is a Veggie Brat option. Guests can also pick up a sweet treat at B.B. Wolf’s. We recommend the Maple Bacon Cookie Dough topped with candied bacon.
