Four Appetizing Ways to Enjoy Disney This February
At the heart of every Disney getaway are some tasty eats! In addition to the new snacks and sweets throughout the park (check out our February Best Bites here) you’ll also find a handful of extra special appetizing ways to dine your way around Disney on both coasts. Options like special dining packages can make add an extra element of fun to your Disney getaway. “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” Dessert Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
It may be a few months before Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Walt Disney World but there are still a few out-of-this-world ways to show your fandom! One of our favorites is the Star Wars-themed dessert party on offer at Hollywood Studios. The experience begins each evening inside Launch bay where guests are treated to sweet and savory food items, soft drinks, speciality beverages and even cocktails, beer and wine for the adults. During the party, guests can explore Star Wars Launch Bay which is home to incredible exhibits featuring costumes, models, concept artwork and more from the Star Wars franchise. Guests will then receive a souvenir Star Wars treat before being escorted to an exclusive viewing area where you’ll be able to enjoy amazing sightlines the nighttime extravaganza “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.”
As for the menu, its filled with gorgeous treats including Star Wars-themed cupcakes, freeze-dried chocolate hazelnut mousse, warm bread pudding, red pepper hummus with smoked sea-salted flatbread, Cosmic Citrus Twist and so much more! Reservations can be made online by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort website or by calling 407 WDW-DINE (407 939-3463). The cost to attend this event is $79.00 per adult and $45 per child (ages 3-9.)
Star Wars Guided Tour at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Another appetizing way to feel The Force and fill your bellies is with Hollywood Studios’ awesome Star Wars guided tour! During this fully-guided offering, guests will enjoy an exclusive voyage throughout the park including VIP access to all things Star Wars. This includes reserved viewing areas for “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Way”, March of the First Order and a special ride on Star Tours – The Adventure Continues. Kids booked on the tour are also guaranteed participation in one of the Jedi Training Academy sessions.
Another highlight of this event is a delicious meal at Backlot Express where you can dine on Star Wars-themed treats including the Lightsaber churros (pictured above) as well as a host of other delicious goodies! Donald Duck’s Seaside Brunch at Disney’s PCH Grill at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel
Add a bit of character to your Disneyland dining experience during this delicious new brunch at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Beginning on March 29th, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday guests are invited to join Donald and friends for a fun-filled culinary adventure! Featuring an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet brimming with popular breakfast items like Mickey shaped-waffles and yummy lunch specials, there’s sure to be something that will please all ages and tastes. The menu features everything from rotating seasonal options to salads, soups, pizzas, pasta a more. And who can forget dessert? You’ll find an abundance of sweet treats including ice cream sundaes to beignets with dipping sauce.

Fantasmic! On The Go Dining Package at Hungry Bear Restaurant at Disneyland park
Perfect for theme park busy-bodies, you can now enjoy a delicious meal on the go with VIP access to one of Disneyland’s incredible Fantasmic! performances with this new dining package available to book at Hungry Bear Restaurant! Beginning on March 8th, guests will be able to choose between three delicious entrees created especially for this event. This includes cedar salt-roasted sustainable salmon, barbecue chicken, blackberry barbecue pork riblets or a mushroom and leek frittata. Each dish comes with a medley of wild rice and cranberry-apricot grains as well as a kale and garbanzo bean salad. Under the package, guests can pick up your meal anytime after 3pm and will receive a voucher allowing entry to a reserved viewing area for Fantasmic! Outdoor seating is available at the Hungry Bear or guests can opt to take your food with you.
