Eco-Friendly Reusable Bags Arrive at Walt Disney World and Disneyland
Let’s face it – You can’t make a visit to Walt Disney World or Disneyland without doing some shopping! Now, with new eco-friendly reusable bag options available at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, you will be able to get all those souvenirs home in style.
The new shopping bags are made of 80% recycled materials and similar to the reusable bags that were first introduced at the re-imagined World of Disney Stores this past Fall. And, did I mention how adorable the bags are? Each one features popular Disney Characters and Disney Park monuments such as Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom and the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom.
Guests can purchase these new reusable bags at Disney owned-and-operated shops throughout the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts for a nominal fee.
Shoppers at the Disneyland Resort will have four reusable bag options to choose from including one for Disneyland Park, one for California Adventure Park, one for Downtown Disney District and Resort Hotels, and one current one for the World of Disney Store.
Over on the East Coast at Walt Disney World, shoppers will have seven reusable bag designs to choose from. Designs include one for the Magic Kingdom; Disney’s Hollywood Studios; Epcot; Animal Kingdom; Disney owned and operated shops at Disney Springs; a shared Walt Disney World Resort-inspired bag for Resort Hotels, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and other merchandise locations; and the existing World of Disney Store bag.
The introduction of the reusable bags adds to Disney’s efforts to help minimize the impact of single-use plastic waste across the planet and are part of the Walt Disney Company’s “efforts to further extend [the] ongoing commitment to conservation and advance environmental sustainability goals.”
