10 of Our Favorite Walt Disney World Gift Shops
If you’re planning on visiting Walt Disney World in the year ahead then chances are you’ll be stashing a bit of money aside to stock up on some of your favorite souvenirs. With gift shops seemingly around every corner, knowing where to go to find those special items at the theme parks can be a little bit daunting. That’s where we come in! We’ve compiled a list of 10 of our go-to Disney World gift shops to help you with your souvenir shopping!
1. Memento Mori – Magic Kingdom
We’ll get started with my personal favorite! This gift shops adjacent to Haunted Mansion is brimming with macabre items inspired by this beloved classic attraction. Here you’ll find a delightfully odd assortment of clothing, accessories, artwork, toys, housewares and so much more. Another highlight of a visit to this Liberty Square merchant is the opportunity to pose for a spooktacular lenticular portrait. The finished product (which magically appears in a cupboard in the gift shop) will transform you into one of the 999 Happy Haunts you will find at the Haunted Mansion. The gift shops is open daily from 10 am – 9 pm.
2. The Emporium- Magic Kingdom
The Emporium is the quintessential Magic Kingdom gift shop. Within its doors, you’ll find every Disney gift imaginable from toys, clothing, MagicBands, housewares, jewelery and more! Many first time visitors don’t realize that this massive shop spans the entire left-hand side of Main Street U.S.A. You can walk all the way from the entrance of the shop near the Fire Station all the way to Casey’s Corner at the top of the street. This makes it a wonderful place for browsing when Main Street crowds get too heavy or during those all-to-frequent Florida downpours. This shop opens prior to rope drop (usually around 7:45) and stays open until the park closes.
3. Marketplace Co-op – Disney Springs
I love this gift shop so much that I think a visit to Disney Springs wouldn’t be complete without passing a little bit of time browsing the eclectic and unique Disney items you can find here! This shop is essentially Disney’s testing ground for new merchandise before they hit the parks as well as a boutique space for Disney artisans to show off their limited edition wares. Here’s a quick look at some of the speciality shops you’ll find here!
- Cherry Tree Lane – Retro Disney Fashion including amazing dresses from The Dress Shop, scarves, shoes, bags and jewellery and more.
- D-Tech on Demand – A place to personalize and customize your own electronic accessories.
- Disney Centerpiece – Home products for guests including room furnishings, textiles and everyday ware.
- Disney TAG – Retro-modern travel accessories and gear with dashes of Disney flair, Includes luggage, passport wallets, jewellery organizers and more!
- Lovepop Paper Art – You’ll be awe-struck by the award-winning, intricate paper art you’ll find at this colorful shops. This shop combines the ancient art form of kirigami with modern engineering.
- Twenty Eight and Main– Mens clothing featuring vintage art as well as wall art and accessories.
- WonderGround Gallery – Innovative artists and illustrators put a spin on Disney’s rich storytelling legacy with limited edition artwork and merchandise.
The Co-Op is usually open from 10:00am – 11pm seven days a week.
4. Tatooine Traders – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Until Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens later in the year, this is THE place for fans to get your Star Wars fix. Star Tours empties out into this bustling gift shop where you’ll find a wide range of merchandise. One of our favorite things about this shop is the make-your-own lightsaber stations where kids of all ages can make your own signature weapon. Similarly, the droid workshop also allows you to manufacture a truly unique droid companion. In addition, you’ll find unique collectables, Star Wars-themed clothing, souvenirs, accessories toys and more! The shop is typicall open from 9 AM – 8 PM.
5. Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar – Magic Kingdom
Ahoy Mateys! For those looking to stock up on pirate essentials, this Adventureland gift shop is an absolute treasure trove of swashbuckling items. Here you’ll find pirate costumes, apparel, accessories, toys not to mention eyepatches and tricorn hats galore! There’s always fun, quirky items to be found here for those taking a bit of time to browse! Bring those doubloons and head over to the shop which is open from 9 AM – 9 PM.
6. World of Disney – Disney Springs
World of Disney holds the distinction of being the largest Disney gift shop in the World. Within its doors, you’ll find almost every Disney goodie imaginable. Last year the layout of the shop was re-imagined to make it even easier to find everything your Disney-loving heart desires. The sheer size of this shop means that you’ll definitely want to take some time to explore the unbelievable selection you’ll find here!
7. Mouse Gear- Epcot
This Future World gift shop is a must-do for my family every time we pay a visit to Epcot. It’s a huge shop where you can track down just about anything. Fans of Figment? Then this is the perfect place to find items sporting his likeness. The shop also carries clothing, jewelery, trading pins, bags, candy, toys and a ton of Epcot branded goodies! Mouse Gear is typicall open from 9 AM – 10 PM.
8. The Chapeau – Magic Kingdom
No visit to Walt Disney World would be complete without picking up your very own pair of Mickey Ears. You’ll find them at this Main Street U.S.A shop in abundance. From fancy feathered headbands to the classic ears, this shop has it all. You can even get your ears embroidered by an amazing in-house team! The shop opens early (around 7:45) each morning and stays open until 10 PM.
9. Mitsukoshi Department Store – Epcot
If you are planning a visit to Epcot to enjoy all that the World Showcase has to offer then you’ll definitely want to spend some time exploring this incredible shop in the Japan Pavilion. This is the home of the famous Pick-A-Pearl Stand. You’ll also find sake tasting, and a quirky mix of pop culture items, kitchenware, home goods, amazing Japanese snacks and so much more! The shop is open from 11 am – 9 pm.
10. Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe – Magic Kingdom
It’s always Christmas at Walt Disney World, that’s why this Liberty Square merchant seems like a perfect fit any time of year! We can’t think of a better way to remember your special Disney World visit than with one of the gorgeous ornaments you’ll find here! You even have the option of customizing your ornament having the hand-painted while you stroll the parks. You’ll also find ornaments for every important milestone imaginable from Baby’s First Christmas to High School Graduation!
