Purple Treats Foodie Guide – Disneyland Edition
Potion Purple inspired treats have invaded the Walt Disney World Resort and now they are making their way to Disneyland! Here is where you will find those amazing churros and macarons so let’s get to it. Here are the purple treats you can find at the Disneyland Resort beginning January 11th!
Purple Glove Macaron
Lavender Milk Tea
Lavender Milk Tea is as delicious as it is beautiful! With lemon popping pearls, purple whipped cream, and lavender sugar, this tea is perfect for a nice, sunny day! Stop by the Red Rose Taverne at Disneyland Park to grab one beginning on the 11th!
Purple Fish Tacos
Let’s talk tacos! Baja-style fish tacos with purple cabbage slaw and spicy lime aioli make a great meal! They are served with a side of blue corn chips that not only add extra color to the plate, but are also delicious! Rancho del Zocalo in Disneyland Park is the home of this great dish.
Jamaica Freeze
This frozen purple drink could be straight from Arendelle! But it’s not. The Jamaica Freeze is made with candied hibiscus flowers and you can find it starting January 18th in Disneyland Park at Rancho del Zocalo.
Purple Churro
Let’s face it. You can not go to Disneyland and not eat a churro. It’s virtually impossible! Disneyland churros are an iconic treat that nearly everyone enjoys! So in honor of the Potion Purple craze, they have turned them, you guessed it, purple! Find these gorgeous (and tasty) treats at Disneyland Park in Critter Country.
Taro Pancakes
For a tasty (and Instagram worthy) breakfast, head over to River Belle Terrace in Disneyland Park. These perfect pancakes are created with purple Chantilly cream and creme anglaise.
Jungle Julep
For another delicious frozen treat, you should definitely try the Jungle Julep. It’s made with pineapple, orange, grape and lemon slush! So refreshing! Bengal Barbecue in Disneyland Park is it’s home so be sure to check it out.
Purple Cake Pop
Last, but certainly not least, on our adventure of all treats purple, we have the Purple Cake Pop. This one is a must try for me! It’s a chocolate cake pop with dark chocolate Mickey ears. With it dipped in raspberry white chocolate, it’s sure to be flying off the shelves! You can find these in a few places around Disneyland Park: Candy Palace, Pooh Corner, Trolley Treats and of course, Marceline’s Confectionery.
Looking at all of these incredibly tasty treats that will be appearing in Disneyland very shortly is making me want to plan my next trip!
