Exclusive Look at Amazing 2019 Disney Merchandise
Walt Disney World has become infamous for extending the Holiday season into a weeks, ok months long celebrations. Celebrating Christmas the day after Halloween and Halloween before your kids have started back to school can be considered ‘premature’ at best. If you’ve experienced Magic Kingdom decked out for Halloween in the dead of August, you know the exact out-of-time feeling I’m talking about. Let’s take a look at the 2019 Disney merchandise.
Nah, but the release of the Disney Parks 2019 merchandise is about the timeliest release they’ve pulled off this entire Holiday season! I just returned home a few days ago, and World of Disney, the Main Street Emporium, and Resort gift shops across Property are fully stocked with must-have 2019 merchandise! This visit I’m referring to may have been in 2018, but guests were in the market for Parks attire they could rock for the year to come, so let’s preview the 2019 Disney Parks merchandise!
Mouse Gear
The 2019 merchandise was rolled out slowly over the course of my visit. The first of the baby blue merchandise caught my eye in Mouse Gear over in Epcot’s Future World.
I was immediately drawn to the Mickey and Minnie-focused merch- especially the new 2019 Mickey Mouse figure that I couldn’t wait to add to my growing collection!
Ink and Paint
This visit marked my first-ever stay at Art of Animation Resort, and whenever I was able to tear my eyes away from the chandelier that bears the signatures of many Disney Legends in the lobby, I popped into Ink and Paint Shop to browse around!
It was there that I discovered the first of the 2019 drink ware that’ll soon stock the kitchen cabinets of Disney fans worldwide.
Plus, when you’re brewing your coffee on those cold winter days that still lie ahead here up north, you can don one of these sweatshirts bearing the new years’ designs!
World of Disney
It came as no surprise that the newly reimagined World of Disney had the most extensive selection of 2019 merchandise…but it wasn’t where I thought I’d find it.
The store recently underwent a major remodel, and although I feel that the shopping experience is now greatly improved, the 2019 merchandise placement seemed to be an afterthought.
Located NOT in the open, breathable main section of the store, the extensive 2019 offerings ranged from attire to ornaments to so much more! If you’re looking for it when you visit World of Disney, enter through the doors closest to Lego store (in between the statues of Cinderella and Aurora) and look to your left.
It’s out of the way and not at all where you’d think to look, but once you find it, you’re sure to find the exact piece you need to ring in 2019 properly…with a touch of Disney Magic!
