Take a Photo Tour of World of Disney at Christmas!
One of the biggest changes to Disney Springs in 2018 was the complete re-imagining of Walt Disney World Resort’s flagship merchandise store, World of Disney! So many times in my childhood visits to WDW have consisted of evenings like this: arriving at the Resort after a long travel day, and begging my parents to go to ‘Downtown Disney just so I could feast my eyes on the fantasy-turned-reality that was World of Disney!
I knew my vacation started the moment I set foot inside o that dreamlike store that held everything my little heart desired, and I know I’m not the only one with fond memories of the place! Let’s take a look at what the newly re-imagined Wold of Disney looks like at Christmas. Though I give you fair warning- feelings of nostalgic childhood vacations lie ahead!
The Main Floor

The biggest change (besides the whole entire store!) is the layout. The new store is designed as an open floor plan that seamlessly flows from section to section.

Gone are the days of the walled-in mini-stores that made for a cluttered, stressful, and downright confusing shopping experience.

The new spaces’ expansiveness makes finding whatever it is you may be looking for super easy to search out!

Holiday Cheer
Since the new re-imagination of the store just opened in October, when Disney starts the Christmas celebrating, we’ve yet to see the shelves sans Christmas merchandise.

Stockings begging to be stuffed hang merrily from the walls and attire suited for brand new babies to newlyweds bulks out the offerings.

Even if the person you’re shopping for isn’t an apparent Disney fan- although you should seriously question your relationship with such a person- subtly created gifts (like this adorable cutting board) can seamlessly blend with any combination of other gifts…Disney branded or otherwise!
