Amazing New Photos and Video of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
In just over a week we will be kicking off 2019. And, what is one of the most exciting events happening in 2019? The opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge of course!
Recently, the pros over at Rogue Aviation flew over the site of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort and caught some amazing images and video of the construction process. Wait until you see this video!
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is currently under construction at Disneyland Park and Walt Disney World. Once construction is complete it will open adjacent to Frontierland in the Park and be known as Batuu – a remote trading location welcoming adventure seekers around the galaxy.
In the video above, you should be able to catch a good view of the new Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run attraction. You will also see the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction and scaffolding surrounding the Black Spire Outpost.
The centerpiece of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be the full-scale replica of the Corellian YT-1300 light freighter. You see the light fighter in the northwest corner of the park sitting in a semi-circle docking area.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to open Summer 2019 at the Disneyland Resort and Late Fall 2019 at the Walt Disney World Resort.
