Check Out the Festive Photo Ops available at This Year’s Very Merry Christmas Party
This weekend marks the start of the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party season and with it a wide range of fun festive treats at Disney’s Magic Kingdom park. During this special ticketed event, guests can hop on your favorite attractions without the lines, meet special Disney friends and enjoy a wide range of seasonal entertainment offerings from parades and stage shows to fireworks displays. For guests hoping to capture the memories of your Christmas getaway, Disney’s PhotoPass team will also be offering some Festive Photo Ops to preserve the holiday magic!
As you make the rounds through the Magic Kingdom on party night be on the lookout for Disney’s amazing team of PhotoPass photographers. Many of them come bearing props to make those family photos extra special. One of our favorites has to be the new Tinker Bell lantern. Be on the lookout for this pixie-dusted Photo Op in Fantasyland near the Enchanted Tales with Belle attraction.
We’ve got just the perfect shot for those of you with a sweet tooth. You’ll find the Mickey Mouse Cookie Magic Shot available in Adventureland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Or you may prefer the Candy Cane shot which is offered in front of Cinderella Castle as well as on the bridges leading to Liberty Square, Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.
We love it when Disney adds a little bit of animated fun to our theme park photos and this Christmastime Parade-themed shot is no exception. Add marching Toy Soldiers to your family photo taken on Main Street U.S.A.
Stop to have your photo taken near the entrance to the Magic Kingdom and ask them to add in this festive shot complete with a cheerful reindeer and gingerbread man.
Fans of Frozen won’t want to miss this animated shot taken near the bridges leading to Liberty Square, Tomorrowland and Fantasyland with a glistening Cinderella Castle in the background.
Meet your loved one under the mistletoe with this playful Magic Shot available at various PhotoPass locations throughout the Magic Kingdom.
Stop to meet Santa as you enter the Magic Kingdom and capture this wonderful animated shot telling your Christmas Story. And don’t forget all of the fantastic character meet and greets that take place during the party where PhotoPass photographers will be on standby to capture the magic.
All of these fantastic photo ops are included in the cost of a Disney Memory Maker package. For $169 (if purchased in advance) or $199 if purchased while on your vacation, MemoryMaker allows you to gather up as many PhotoPass photos as you like during your Walt Disney World vacation and enjoy unlimited downloads of your images. Disney also offers a Memory Maker One Day package perfect for party guests which can be purchased via the My Disney Experience mobile app once you’ve linked at least one Disney PhotoPass photo to your account on the day that you want to use it! Memory Maker can also be purchased inside the Town Square Theatre at the Magic Kingdom.

Is the $69.00 one available this year? We are only going to MVMCP and it doesn’t seem worth it to spend $169.00 for only a couple of hours. Thanks!
