New Entrance For Vehicles Opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 8th
Guests paying a visit to Hollywood Studios on or after November 8, 2018 should note that Disney is changing the way that vehicles arrive and access parking at the theme park.
As many of our readers already know, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is being re-imagined to prepare for the parks 30th anniversary in 2019! Along with major changes like this year’s opening of Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (which will open the end of 2019), Disney is also transforming the park’s arrival experience. The hope is that this will ready the park for the influx of new visitors!

From the image above you can a new entrance and exit located just off Osceola Parkway. The current entrance off World Drive and Osceola Parkway is being repurposed for Cast Members. The satellite entrance on Buena Vista Drive will be reserved for buses.
When the new entrance opens in a few weeks, drivers should be on the lookout for updated roadway signs throughout Walt Disney World which will allow you to easily located the Hollywood Studios parking lot. Those driving in from southbound Victory Way will find a connecting road leading to the theme park.
This is just one of the many changes coming to Hollywood Studios over the next year including expanded parking areas, additional bus parking and the introduction of Disney’s World’s new Skyliner gondola system. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for the latest Walt Disney World news and updates.
