Changes Being Made to 14-Night Eastbound Panama Canal Cruise Itinerary from San Diego
A low-pressure system in the Pacific Ocean just off the coast of Mexico is presenting some issues for the 14-Night Eastbound Panama Canal cruise from San Diego on the Disney Wonder. The system has lost organization over the last few days, but environmental conditions suggest it could regain strength and reorganize, causing some problems for the current itinerary. Tropical Depression or Tropical Storm Vincent is likely to form over the weekend or by early next week.
Current Forecast
According to the correspondence from Disney Cruise Line, the system is a safe distance away and moving along the southern Mexican coast. However, the current forecast has the storm near Puerto Vallarta on Monday.
Eastbound Panama Canal Cruise
Just to be safe, Disney is modifying the current itinerary for the Eastbound Panama Canal cruise and replacing Monday’s stop in Puerto Vallarta with a day at sea instead. Disney is always taking precautions to keep their Guests and Crew Members safe.
Any pre-reserved Port Adventures in Puerto Vallarta will be automatically removed from onboard accounts.
Disney will continue to monitor the path and progress of the system and provide passengers with any additional updates, should they be necessary.
