Best Places to Find Coffee in Walt Disney World
It’s an early morning. Your family wanted to get up at the break of dawn to watch the rope drop and welcome show at Magic Kingdom park. Afterwards, you all HAVE to be the very first on Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train. As you’re sitting on the Disney Transportation Bus from your hotel to the park, it hits you. You realize you forgot the most important part of your day – something you can’t survive without: your daily morning coffee. Here are the best places to get coffee in Walt Disney World!
Types of Coffee in Walt Disney World
Whether you like a grande, iced, sugar free, vanilla latte with soy milk and caramel drizzle, or just a plain black cup of coffee, Walt Disney World has just the right cup for you.
At any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, there is no need to worry about where to get your daily dose of caffeine. Coffee in Walt Disney World (and pastries!) can be found in almost every corner of every park. Whether it’s Starbucks, Joffrey’s, or just a plain old cup of joe, coffee is an item that will always be around at Walt Disney World resort. Props to you parents who do full days in the parks without coffee!
Starbucks
If you’re looking for something with a familiar taste, take no step further than Starbucks, one of the most recognized coffee companies in the world. Walt Disney World has plenty of Starbucks Coffee shops throughout the resort. Starbucks can be found on Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom.
In Epcot, Starbucks can be found on the right side of Future World if you’re headed towards World Showcase. It will be right after you pass the Spaceship Earth geosphere. You can’t miss the Starbucks at Hollywood Studios. As you head down Hollywood Boulevard after scanning into the park, Starbucks will be on your right hand side.
Starbucks is also in Animal Kingdom, and can be found if turning left right before The Tree of Life. This Starbucks uses paper straws instead of plastic since Animal Kingdom is all about saving the environment.
There are two more Starbucks locations on Disney property, both located at Disney Springs. The first one you’ll see is the Starbucks near the movie theaters. This Starbucks has a huge seating area, indoors and outdoors, looking out on the lake. The architecture inside and outside is unique and beautiful, yet still your familiar Starbucks. The indoor seating area has a screen where you can see what is going on at the Downtown Disney Starbucks location in Anaheim, California. Guests can even communicate with each other by writing on the screens!
The last Starbucks at Walt Disney World resort is right near the Disney store at Disney Springs. It is a walk up, to-go type Starbucks – easy and convenient. Each of these Starbucks locations sell the iconic Starbucks mug, themed uniquely to the park you’re buying it at. If you’re at the Magic Kingdom Starbucks, you’ll find a Magic Kingdom Starbucks mug, and even more fun Disney/Starbucks accessories!
Joffrey’s
If you’re a fan of Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea company, you’re in luck. There are surprisingly more Joffrey’s locations than Starbucks at the Walt Disney World Resort! Joffrey’s has nineteen locations throughout Walt Disney World. The main difference between getting your coffee at Joffrey’s versus getting your coffee at Starbucks is that Joffrey’s coffee will always be served at a kiosk.
Most of the Starbucks locations at Walt Disney World are indoors, which also provides an escape from the Florida heat. A plus a bout the Joffrey’s kiosks are that they are much faster than the long lines at Starbucks, and easier to grab and go. Joffrey’s also serves their famous “Big ‘Ol Donut” at Walt Disney World locations. It’s totally Instagram worthy, plus gets an A+ on the delicious scale!
Many Other Options
Many full and quick service restaurants throughout Walt Disney World serve coffee as well. At these locations, it is normally just your general cup of coffee with cream and sugar on the side. At a few special restaurants, the coffee that is served is actually Joffrey’s coffee! The restaurants that serve Joffrey’s include some favorites such as The Hollywood Brown Derby, Boma, Sanaa, Tusker House, Yachtsman Steakhouse, California Grill, and more.
Next time you find yourself yawning at Walt Disney World, remember how close that nearest cup of coffee is. Chances are, you can find a cup on every corner! Grab one on your way in, and your way out! If you’re on vacation at Walt Disney World, you’ll probably need it!
