Everything to Know About Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Raise your hand if, while watching Disney’s legendary movie Cinderella, your son or daughter has wanted to be turned into a prince or princess? Keep your hand up because there’s good news! The good news is if you wave your own magic wand and repeat after me, say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, you can make your child’s dreams come true.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
With a little Disney magic and a reservation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique during your Disney vacation your little one (ages 3 to 12 please) can be turned into a beautiful princess or a handsome prince or knight! These popular transformations are conducted by – we love this title – Fairy Godmothers-in-Training. They provide hairstyling, make up, manicures and accessories – so that your child can live out their adventures throughout the park.
Two Locations
There are a few things you should know about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique before you go to the Boutique. There are Boutiques located in both Disney World and Disneyland.
In Disney World there are two locations – one inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom and another is located in the Once Upon a Toy store in Disney Springs Marketplace. In Disneyland, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is located in Fantasyland – how appropriately named, right?
Make Reservations – Don’t Delay!
Next, we recommend that you make your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservations at least six months in advance because these are extremely popular Disney events. There are several package deals available, ranging in price from $64.95 for the Crown package and up. The crown package includes a hairstyle – either Fairytale Princess, Disney Diva or Color Star — shimmering makeup Princess sash and nail polish.
Available Packages
The Courtyard Package includes all of the above, but also includes a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo t-shirt. The Castle Package comes with all of the above and a portrait package, because you know you’ll want photos! Your child can participate in the Frozen Elsa package or the Princess package that includes outfits for such princesses as Anna, Elsa, Ariel, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Tinker Bell, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Merida.
Minnie Me
If your child would prefer to dress more like Minnie Mouse – and who wouldn’t, she has quite the fashion sense — there is a package just for them too. It includes a Minnie hairstyle, Princess Cinch Bag, nail polish and, of course, Minnie’s famous dotted dress and matching bow.
Let’s Hear it for the Boys
Don’t think your boys are left out of all this dress up fun, because they aren’t. There are packages where they can also dress up to slay the fiercest dragon! The price starts at $19.95 (plus tax), and includes hairstyling with gel, a mighty sword and shield confetti. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dress up for the parks and have some fun that you’ll never forget it.
Once the transformations are complete, be sure to document this momentous occasion with photos! It’s a dream come true!
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo
A few tidbits on the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo song. It’s actually called the “The Magic Song” and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1951. Turn the record over – yes there is another side – and the flip side was “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes”. Great song, great movie and great opportunity for your little ones to live out a dream.
