Delicious New Items Added to the Menu at Sci-Fi Dine Theater Restaurant
If you’ve never been to the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restuarant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios you are in for a real treat. Not only does the restaurant offer an incredible menu of American classics but it’s set in an indoor soundstage made to look like a drive-in movie theatre from the 50’s or 60’s. The theme is carried through every element of the dining experience from the Classic B-Movies that play on the big screen while you dine to the fact that you enjoy your meal from behind the wheel of a classic convertible car!
On top of all of the fun listed above Disney announced this week that some tasty new items have been added to the lunch/dinner menu at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. We are excited to give you a sneak peek of the new items you’ll find on offer!
Drive-In BBQ Burger – If there’s one menu item that Sci-Fi does particularly well it’s their amazing array of incredible burgers. This new addition to the line-up definitely will not disappoint and is made up of a signature blend of beef with BBQ spices, house-made BBQ sauce, bacon, cheddar, crispy-fried jalapenos and onion straws served on a brioche bun. The cost of the burger is $19.00.
Buffalo Chicken Salad – Another new menu item is the Buffalo Chicken Salad which comes with fried chicken tossed in Spicy Buffalo Sauce, Iceberg Lettuce, bacon, red onion, cucumber, shredded cheddar, fried tortilla strips and Cilantro-Ranch Dressing. The salad costs $16.00.
The Sci-Fi Barbecue Platter- This big plate of goodness is sure to please BBQ Fans. It comes with smoked pulled pork, St. Louis-style ribs, grilled chicken, sausage, cheddar cornbread, southern coleslaw, and cowboy beans made with a Coca-Cola barbecue sauce. The cost for the platter is $27.00.
Pan-Seared Shrimp or Chicken Pasta – Perfect for seafood lovers, this new entree features Penne Pasta tossed in a smoked-tomato four-cheese cream sauce with Baby Kale, Fennel, Zucchini and Red Bell Peppers. The cost is $25.00 or you can get it with chicken for $24.00.
Beef and Blue Burger – Another new tasty burger, this one is made up of a Signature blend of beef topped with blue cheese, onion marmalade, bacon, lettuce and tomato. It is served upon a Brioche Roll for $19.00
Sci-Fi Appetizer Sampler- Get your meal off to a delicious start with this new sampler platter that is perfect for sharing. It comes with boneless buffalo tenders, shrimp and crab fondue, house-made tortilla chips, fried dill pickles and is served with blue cheese and horseradish. The cost for this dish is $20.00.
Shrimp and Crab Fondue – You can also get this delicious treat as it’s own appetizer. It is made up of a blend of shrimp, crab, cheese, roasted red peppers, fresh dill and corn tortilla chips. You can enjoy this treat from $9.990
The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant is one of the most popular Table Service eateries at Hollywood Studios.
