The Incredibles and Disney – Perfect Together
The Incredibles are all that anyone is talking about and with good reason. They are awesome! If you love them too, it’s time to plan a vacation around these lovable superheroes.
But first, watch the first film The Incredibles! Did you miss it? Or has it been years since you’ve seen it? After all, it’s been 14 years since the first film debuted in 2004, so maybe it’s time to get out your copy or rent it, pop some popcorn and watch it again. It’s a good idea too, because the Incredibles 2, which is in theaters now, takes place the next day after the first one ended.
Once you have seen both movies, now it’s time to plan your ‘incredible’ Disney vacation! If you (okay, the kids) can’t get enough of Dash, Frozone, Baby Jack and the rest of The Incredibles, it’s time to book your trip to Disney World! What can you do?
Ride the Incredicoaster: The Incredicoaster opened on June 23rd at Disney’s California Adventure and it’s soooo worth the ride. Have you (okay your kids) ever wanted to run as fast as Dash? This coaster gives you that same speedy rush that running like Dash would give you! The ride is built around The Incredibles 2 film rather than the original but that’s okay. 5-4-3-2-1! Blastoff as you try to find Baby Jack Jack! You’ll fly through twists, turns, ups and downs and loops in an exhilarating ride that will leave you wanting to get back on the line again – so do it! Get back on that line again! It’s (say it with me again) incredible!
The Incredicoaster will be located in the Disney California’s new Pixar Pier where there will be four themed neighborhoods – The Incredibles, Toy Story, Inside Out, and a collage of Pixar movies. Pack your bags, you’ll want to move in!
Everybody Loves a Parade! And an Incredibles float will be added to the “Paint the Night” parade and will feature Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone! According to Disney, Dynamic and innovative visual technology will also bring Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack to life! It’s a don’t-miss parade!
Visit Tomorrowland! If you’re vacationing at Magic Kingdom in Orlando, make sure you check out Tomorrowland because it’s looking a little different now. First, it’s been renamed ‘The Incredibles Tomorrowland Expo’. Here you’ll get to dance with Edna Mode (yup, she dances), Frozone and Mr. Incredible at the Incredibles Super Dance Party! on the Rocket Tower Stage. You – I mean the kids – can get your groove on!

The Incredibles Tomorrowland Expo runs until September 3 so book your last-minute summer vacation now. There is also Incredibles-themed park décor and photo opps with scenes from the movie around the park. Snap a selfie with Frozone’s ice, the villainous robot and a scene from the tunnels.
Don’t put that camera away because throughout the day, you’ll see Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, Edna Mode or Frozone cruise by in their super-mobile to show off their superpowers! They are protecting you, so show them some love. You can strike a pose for Mrs. Incredible, learn how to ice surf with Frozone and get fashion advice from the one-and-only Edna Mode.
Finally, make sure you pick up some merch as a wonderful memory of your Incredibles adventure. Choose from cups, t-shirts and other clothes, stuffed animals, figurines, and more.
What a trip!
