These don’t miss experiences are extremely popular so be sure to build in time when planning your next aerial adventure!
Soarin’

Soarin’s flight simulator takes you on a memorable breezy ride from one destination to another around the world, such as the Great Wall of China and Australia’s Sydney Harbour and there’s no passport needed! The 80-foot IMAX projection screen provides such a realistic feeling of flying on a hang glider that you’ll feel like you really are in the air. As soon as it’s over, you’ll want to get right back on line for another trip.
Aerophile
Up, up and away! Aerophiles are those who love aviation and if that sounds like you and if you ever wanted to fly in a beautiful hot air balloon, here’s your chance! Aerophile is an 8- to 10-minute tethered helium balloon ride in Disney Springs. Once you’re at the top of the ride – which is 400 feet – you will take in an exquisite 360-degree view of Walt Disney World. Take a look from above right at Walt Disney’s imagination come to life.
Flight of Passage
James Cameron’s 2009 blockbuster movie Avatar took everyone’s breath away with its stunning cinematography. Since then, dedicated fans of this sci-fi movie wanted to live out their dreams and actually visit the fictional Avatar and, of course, Disney made your imagination come alive in this five-minute 3-D ride. Hop on your Banshee and explore Avatar! Flight of Passage is located in Pandora –The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but keep in mind that the walk to the front of the line is a journey all in itself.
Mission Space
Have you ever wanted to become an astronaut? Explore space? Touch the moon? If so, then head over to Epcot’s Future World for a ride on Mission Space where you won’t just float around in space, you’ll protect our planet by dodging meteorites! If the full force of a Mission Space ride is too much, you can opt to select the less intense orbit. Astronauts need proper training, so you’ll go through similar training that our real-life astronauts use before you finally head out into space for the trip that’s outta-this world!
Peter Pan’s Flight
When you were little did you dream of flying to Peter Pan’s Never Land on a magical pirate shop? Here’s your chance on a ride that was meant just for you to make those dreams come true.
