Celebrities Who Love Disney As Much As You Do
Disney has fans of all ages from all over the world. Celebrities in Hollywood are no exception. Some of the most famous actors, singers and reality stars are well known for their love of Mickey and the gang.
Katy Perry
Clever fans of Disney’s animated blockbuster Zootopia might have noticed the name “Catty Perry” in Officer Judy Hopps’ music player. This obvious reference to the pop singer is not the only connection the two share. Katy Perry has made frequent visits to Disney parks and is not afraid to dress up as a character for any occasion. She twinned with Minnie Mouse in 2009, dressed head-to-toe in Disney gear in 2017, and recently dressed as Snow White for a Disney-themed episode of American Idol. Earlier this year, Perry donned a red and white polka dot outfit and spoke at Minnie Mouse’s induction on to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Kourtney Kardashian
The reality TV star and mom is seemingly an expert on all things Disneyland. She even shared some tips on her blog on how to properly prepare for a day at the park. These tips included wearing comfortable shoes and layers, being spontaneous with your trip, treating yourself to desserts, and never missing the fireworks! You will also often see her sporting souvenirs, dressing up her kids, and taking photos with the characters.
John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh
This newly married couple is the epitome of Disney romance goals. Not only did the Fuller House star Stamos propose to McHugh at Disneyland, but they also had they signatures Disney ‘D’ at their wedding reception. They recently celebrated their honeymoon at Disney World, which they shared with adorable photos on their Instagram accounts. McHugh has also dressed as characters during her visits. Stamos owns a Disneyland sign and also keeps a piece of the Dumbo ride in his yard! Now that’s dedication.
Ariana Grande
Grande has made multiple appearances on Disney programs. She performed at the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade in 2014 and 2015, at the Radio Disney Music Awards in 2014, and also dueted with John Legend for the recent Beauty and the Beast live adaptation. But she’s not all work when it comes to Disney fun. She also went to Disney to celebrate her 21st birthday, captioning an Instagram post with “spending my last few days as a non 21-year-old in one of my favorite childhood places with my favorite people”.
Pete Wentz
Wentz, known for his role as the bassist in the alternative rock band Fall Out Boy, has brought his love for Disney into his personal life as well as his music career. His son, Bronx Mowgli, is named after the same Mowgli from Disney’s The Jungle Book. He and now ex-wife Ashlee Simpson once had an Alice In Wonderland-themed wedding and a Winnie the Pooh-themed baby shower. Wentz and Fall Out Boy recorded the song “Immortals” for Big Hero 6 and also made a cover of “I Wanna Be Like You” for the We Love Disney soundtrack.
Ginnifer Goodwin
Goodwin is a self-proclaimed fanatic on all things Disney. She played Snow White in Once Upon a Time, Fawn in Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast, and voiced Judy Hopps in Zootopia. However, she also enjoys Disney outside of her working life. She has said that she goes to Disneyland “probably a bit more than is healthy” (Is there such a thing?) and is worried that her children won’t love Disney as much as her because she’ll oversaturate them. Don’t worry Ginnifer, we don’t think that will happen at all.
