1. Pizza Pointe
We’ll start the list off with the newest player on the block – Pizza Pointe. To celebrate National Pizza Day, they are offering a FREE Sicilian square slice of 4 cheese or Pep-peroni pizza with the purchase of a cold beverage from 11 am-2 pm.
Opening in January, this small spot located in the Landing at Disney Springs is the creative concept of Patina Group. Folks who have visited Walt Disney World in the past have likely dined at one of their more established restaurant concepts which include – Morimoto Asia, Tutto Italia, and Via Napoli. Pizza Pointe opened with its tri-restaurant concept establishments – Mario & Enzo’s and Enzo’s hide-away in January.
Pizza Pointe is a quick-service spot that serves Sicilian-style pizza, handmade sandwiches, salads and Italian bev-erages for lunch, dinner, or a late night snack. It’s a great grab-n-go spot to pick up a slice of pizza while strolling the picturesque Disney Springs.
2. Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza
Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza is Pizza Pointe’s main competition for pizza king of Disney Springs. With its options to cus-tomize your pizza with over 40 delicious toppings and sauces, this quick service spot has a dedicated following of pizza fans.
The 11” artisanal pizzas are prepared on the spot in a blazing hot oven that cooks the pizzas in 180 seconds flat! This spot is allergy freindly, too, with glute-free crust available upon request. Plus, their original crust and gluten-free crusts are vegan, making it the perfect spot for all members of your dining party!
Finally, the location of this restaurant is absolutely divine. With outdoor patio seating overlooking the picturesque Disney Springs, you can dine with a million dollar view for under $20 bucks!
3. PizzeRizzo
Rizzo the Rat from the Muppets has all your pizza needs covered at PizzeRizzo. Located in Muppets Courtyard within Hollywood Studios, the pizza is a notch above your standard theme park fare. Plus, this counter service spot is filled with a subtle (and not so subtle) tribute to our favor-ite Muppets characters. Immersive in theming, this is a great spot for any Muppets fan to enjoy a slice of pizza and have some laughs, too!
4. Trail’s End Restaurant
Yes! You heard me right! This down-home frontier table service restaurant located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness re-sort is a true hidden gem. Everything on the menu is al-ways fresh, hot, and tasty. But the best part of all is the breakfast pizza!
Yes, you heard me right! Pizza for break-fast. Breakfast. Pizza. Fresh pizza crust is topped with fluffy scrambled eggs, melted cheese, crumbled sausage, bacon, and/or veggies. Every bite is pure joy and worth the stop to this delightful resort one morning of your vaca-tion.
5. Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria
And last – but certainly not least – is the true winner in pizza at Walt Disney World. Stiff competition to this wood-fire’d pizza joint may have joined the race “for best of the best”, but Via Napoli still wins every time in my book. Their clay ovens bake the pizzas perfectly with a delicious smoked char around the edges.
Ingredients are hearty and the fresh mozzarella combined with sweet tomato offers the perfect bite. The pizza can easily serve multiple family members, making this table service spot one of the most budget-friendly in Disney World. (Shhh… don’t tell though!)
Located in the Italy Pavilion of Epcot’s World showcase, the restaurant offers indoor seating where you can watch the pizzas popping in and out of the three mas-sive wood-fired ovens named after Italian volcanos. Or, find a spot on the patio and enjoy a slice with a glass of wine and immerse yourself in the Tuscan atmosphere of the surrounding buildings.
