Everything You Need to Know About 1900 Park Fare
The folks here at MickeyBlog have deemed 1900 Park Fare the best buffet in the Disney parks. Located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, this all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet offers a delightful breakfast and dinner, and an afternoon tea party with some of your favorite characters. Here’s everything you need to know about 1900 Park Fare.
The Atmosphere
The restaurant is themed after a Victorian carousel. There are vintage looking, carousel animals prancing throughout the dining area. Before you head to the buffet, you’ll also find pretty backdrops that make for a great photo. There’s also a massive, beautifully detailed, pipe organ on the wall named Big Bertha. The overall ambiance is charming and whimsical.
The Characters
Before we talk about the delicious food they serve at 1900 Park Fare, I have to tell you about all the characters you will meet while dining there. This is one of the best places to have a character meal in the park. Have a tea party with Alice and the Mad Hatter from Wonderland. Enjoy the breakfast buffet with Mary Poppins, Tigger and Winnie the Pooh. Dine like royalty with Cinderella and Prince Charming. But watch out for Cinderella’s wicked stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella, they may try to ruin your meal.
Supercalifragilistic Breakfast
You’re on a Disney vacation, no one will judge you if you have a mountain of bacon on your plate for breakfast. You can order omelets and eggs made anyway you like. They also have fluffy, mini pancakes served with Bananas Foster or old-fashion syrup. There’s also an assortment of fruits and pastries to choose from. What’s a fan favorite for breakfast? The Mickey-shaped waffles, of course!
Wonderland Tea Party
Children from ages 4 to 12 are invited for an afternoon tea party with the characters from Wonderland. It is a fun-filled hour of games, crafts and “tea” that tastes a lot like apple juice. Kids can decorate cupcakes with sprinkles and candy as well as make crafts to take home with them.
Happily Ever After Dinner
When dinnertime rolls around, the 1900 Park Fare has a wide selection of seafood, salad, pasta and beef specialties. The salad bar has a bunch of different salad options to choose from. There’s the heirloom tomato salad, farro salad, mixed greens and so many more. The Chef’s favorites are the honey-sriracha salmon and the curried chicken. At the carving station, there is turkey breast and herb-crusted striploin with chimichurri. Sliced fresh to order, I might add. Other savory dishes they provide include butternut squash ravioli, buttery mashed potatoes, steamed mussels and pork masala.
Kid Friendly Options
There are plenty of kid friendly options for the little ones in your group. For breakfast, there are cheesy scrambled eggs and potato puffs. And let’s not forget about those Mickey-shaped waffles that even the adults are enjoying. For dinner, there are childhood favorites like pizza, chicken nuggets, pasta with olive oil and macaroni and cheese.
Just Desserts
All of the sweet treats at 1900 Park Fare are baked fresh in-house. This includes the bite-size cheesecake, the fruit tarts and the rich chocolate mouse. They also serve sticky cinnamon buns in the morning. Word on the street is that the chilled strawberry soup is sweet, smooth and super refreshing. Definitely an item you must try.

My name is Victoria Prisco and I’m a writer from New York. Ever since I was little, I have been completely enchanted by the magic of Disney. And I’m still looking for that rabbit hole to Wonderland.
