Independent Walt Disney Documentary Will Screen at Orlando Film Festival
Orlando Sentinal recently wrote a piece about one Winter Garden mans’ labor of love- a documentary focusing on Walt’s grand vision for the future will debut this month at the Orlando Film Festival!
‘Walt Disney: Master of Dreamers’ was written, directed and produced by Anthony Cortese. He also narrates it and estimates that he edited 99% of it. After three years of work, his documentary will open the Orlando Film Festival on October 17th. The film pays tribute to Walt Disney’s role as boss, mentor and urban planner. The documentary explores the creation of Walt Disney World as well as Walt’s vision for Epcot theme park.
This is not Cortese’s first foray when it comes to directing insightful Disney documentaries. His first film “The Dreamfinders” made it’s debut back in 2016 which focused on how a handful of Walt Disney World locals turned their passion for all things Disney into careers. This film also debuted at the Orlando Film Festival back in 2016.
