6 Ways that Tweens and Teens Can Have a Hauntingly Good Time at Disneyland This Halloween
Here at MickeyBlog, we’re here to dispel the notion that Halloween is just for tiny tots! If you’re planning a Disney visit to teens who love tricks and treats then there’s a lot to celebrate this Halloween Season. To give your teens and tweens a bit of spooky inspiration here are half a dozen ways that you can have a hauntingly good time at Disneyland this Fall!
Hang Out With Frightfully famous Halloween Town residents Jack Skellington and Sally
No Halloween season would be complete without catching a glimpse of the Pumpkin King and his beloved Sally. They’ve been known to materialize in New Orleans Square at Disneyland theme park each Halloween Season near their seasonal home at Haunted Mansion Holiday. If you’re lucky you can even pose for a picture with them!
Tuck Into Delicious Halloween Treats
Each Fall, Disneyland Resort is filled with devilishly delightful treats with something sure to please every sweet tooth. Some of our favorite Haunts to score some delicious goodies includes Candy Palace and Hunny Spot in Disneyland park, Trolley Treats and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff at Disney California Adventure park and Marceline’s Confectionery at the Downtown Disney District. At Alien Pizza Planet in Disneyland park, teens can suck all the flavor out of the Vampire Alien Macaron with lemon filling.
And let’s not forget all things Pumpkin Spice! At Disney California Adventure park, teens and tweens will love the Pumpkin Spice Churro rolled in pumpkin spice sugar at Willie’s Churros near Buena Vista Street and a Pumpkin Spice Milkshake at Flo’s V8 Café
Stroll Buena Vista Street for Spellbinding Photo Moments
For something a bit on the bone-chilling side, during your visit to California Adventure be sure to stop by Buena Vista Street where you’ll find the Headless Horseman perched atop his sinister steed. We can’t think of a better Halloween selfie. At night, things take a slightly more ominous turn as the setting transforms with clouds of bats swarming and other marvellously menacing projections that light up Carthay Circle’s bell tower.
Look The Part With Special Halloween Merch
Dress up for the occassion with some pretty spooktacular seasonal accessories. You’ll find everything from Halloween ears to spirit jerseys and everything in between. Be on the lookout for the Mickey Mouse Halloween Glow Necklace and some Minnie ears with a “Nightmare Before Christmas” makeover.
Pop-By Radiator Screams
For those in the mood for a little boogie head over to Cars Land at Disney California Adventure park for a ghoulishly grand song ‘n’ dance bash guaranteed to wake the dead… batteries, of course! Luigi and Guido are on hand to add a haunted twist to traditional songs and stories from the old country—including the “Terror-antella,” “The Chop Top of Carsoli” and more. This boo-some twosome pulls out all the pit stops with Haul-O-Ween décor and tons of be-hitching fun.
End Your Night WIth “Halloween Screams”
Be sure to stick around for the supernatural projection and special effects show “Halloween Screams” at Disneyland park. This dazzling nighttime spectacular is hosted by “Master of Scare-omonies” Jack Skellington. On weekend nights, “Halloween Screams” also goes sky-high with some pretty incredible pyrotechnics.
