Women Arrested and Banned From Disney After Not Being Able to Find a Cigarette at Hollywood Studios
Another day, another incredible story about guests misbehaving at Walt Disney World. According to a recent piece in the Orlando Sentinel, a 53-year-old woman from Brandon, FL who was upset at not being able to find a cigarette at Disney’s Hollywood Studios received a lifetime ban from Disney and possible criminal charges after slapping a taxi driver and kicking a deputy sheriff.
According to the piece, Edna McMillion was arrested this past Thursday and charged with a 3rd-degree felony battery on a law enforcement officer as well as a misdemeanour count of disorderly intoxication.
Things apparently kicked off around 9pm when a deputy working at the park noticed an altercation at the front of the park. This is according to the arrest affidavit filed in Orange County. McMillion was apparently trying to get a cigarette from a Taxi Driver. When told he didn’t have any McMillion became aggressive and tried to strike the driver. Smoking, of course, has been banned at all of Walt Disney World’s theme parks as of May of this year.
However, in what could be seen as an act of defiance Ellen McMillion shared a post to her Facebook page two days after the altercation showing her dining with her family at Disney Springs!
