Get a Look at the Frightfully Delightful NEW Offerings at This Year’s Oogie Boogie Bash
Are you ready for a freakishly fun time all you West Coast Disney fans? It is almost time for the Halloween Season to kick off at Disneyland Resort which also marks the inaugural year for Ooogie-Boogie Bash – A Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure. This special seasonal event will kick off on September 17th and run for 20 select nights in the lead-in to Halloween!
Let’s put you in the (Halloween) mood with a look at the exclusive NEW experiences and unforgettable Halloween fun that party guests will get to enjoy this year!
Immersive Treat Trails
It wouldn’t be Halloween without trick or treating and thankfully the Oogie Boogie Bash has you covered. You’ll love the new wonderfully wicked treat trails throughout the park! You’ll see iconic characters like the Mad Hatter from Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland,” and maybe even Oogie Boogie himself. Also be on the lookout for oversized cauldrons filled with goodies for party guests.
“Villainous!”
What is sure to be THE Highlight of Oogie Boogies new Halloween soiree. This new edition of World of Color follows a young girl named Shelley Marie as she goes on an unforgettable adventure including devious encounters with some of Disney’s biggest baddies including The Queen, Ursula, Hades, Jafar, Dr. Facilier, Maleficent and more! You’ll be amazed by the dazzling special effects, colorful fountains, festive lights, and state of the art lasers and projections.
Villains Grove
Peer inside the minds of your favorite villains and walk through their own hauntingly beautiful scenes. This walk-through experience is unlike anything you’ve experienced before. Redwood Creek Challenge Trail becomes Villains Grove: an interactive, villain-inspired, dreamlike environment perfect for all ages to wander. This experience will entice party guests with a series of scenes, each creating a not-so-scary symphony of sound, light and shadows for you to explore.
“Frightfully Fun Parade”
The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow kicks of this Halloween Cavalcade atop his ghostly black steed and carrying his flickering jack-o-lantern. What follows is a parade filled with Disney characters and mischievous villains ready to stir up some trouble! This fan-favourite parade will make its way through Disney California Adventure park for the first time!
“Mickey’s Trick & Treat”
This new, interactive stage show invites you to join Mickey Mouse and friends as they throw a one-of-a-kind Halloween party! Perfect for kids of all ages, families will enjoy the dancing, not-so-frightening scary-tales and candy found at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land.
DescenDANCE Party – For even more fun, head to the Backlot area of Hollywood Land for a pulsing, new interactive dance party inspired by the popular “Descendants” franchise from Disney Channel. A spell is cast, summoning the greatest dance crew from the Isle of the Lost to throw down and lead everyone in moves that are set to the biggest hit songs from all three “Descendants” movies. The original “Villain Kids” might even crash the party through magic mirrors. Stick around after as the Backlot DJ continues to spin tunes, inviting everyone to step onto the dance floor into the night.
Oogie Boogie Bash, which takes the place of Mickey’s Halloween Party, is only offered on 20 select nights this fall, starting Sept. 17. For more information, including costume policy guidelines and to purchase tickets, visit Disneyland.com/HalloweenParty.
