Former Typhoon Lagoon Employee Charged With Stealing From Other Cast Members
According to reports from various news sources, a 28-year-old woman from Windermere, Florida has been arrested and charged with several crimes related to thefts at Walt Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon water park.
According to an affidavit by the Orange County Sheriff’s department, Shariel Agosto was accused of stealing cash, credit cards, gift cards and other items from the Locker Rooms where employees store their belongings at the water park.
According to reports, Agosto was not employed at the water parks at the time of the theft but had worked there previously so was familiar with the backstage area of the Typhoon Lagoon She used the credit cards and cash she stole from cast member lockers to buy gas for her car, food and attempted to buy $250 in alcohol according to the Sheriff’s report.
It would appear that Agosto is currently employed for a third party at Disney Springs though further details on her current employer have not been released. According to reports Agost was arrest on August first for unlawful possession of a stolen credit card and petit theft. She is being represented by the Orange County public defender’s office.
