As many of you know the colossal Tree of Life serves as the primary landmark of the theme parks with overs 300 animal carvings etched into the massive 50-foot trunk. The new Tree of Life “Awakenings” projection show paying tribute to the 25th anniversary of “The Lion King” debuts in late May at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Others feature elements of much-loved Disney films including “Avatar,” “Finding Nemo,” “Pocahontas” and “Jungle Book.”
With Disney’s live-action version of “The Lion King” slated to open in theaters on July 19, 2019, Disney will add an additional phase dubbed “Awakenings: Lion King.” This show will feature the animated animals, themes and musical score found in the original 1994 picture.
