Walt Disney World Ticket Prices Increase Overnight
If you were pricing out stand-alone tickets (those not included in a package) for Walt Disney World yesterday and didn’t purchase them, you will find that the price for the tickets is a bit higher this morning. It appears that Walt Disney World ticket prices increased overnight.
On March 7, 2019 the price for 7-day Park Hoppers for 4 adults and one child came in at $2658.42. When pricing the same options this morning, the price increased to $2813.67. Per my calculations, this is an increase of about 5.8%.

We had previously reported that we felt a ticket price increase at Walt Disney World was on the horizon. This past January, the Disneyland Resort increased their tickets prices by about 8%. The price increase in tickets at both Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort can be due to the much-anticipated opening of Star War: Galaxy’s Edge which will open at Disneyland Park on May 31, 2019 and at Hollywood Studios on August 29, 2019.
It is important to reiterate that this price increase is due to stand-alone tickets only and not those tickets that are a part of a Walt Disney World Vacation Package which would include your room, tickets, and other components. It is unknown at this time if the tickets that are a part of the packages will increase at a later time and/or if stand-alone tickets will increase again in the future.

Disney park tickets are getting very pricey. Making it even unaffordable for even middle class. Higher prices less time in parks. Some nights people have to leave at 6pm so they can charge $100 or more to people from 7pm to close. Luckily I bought into the DVC 20 years ago or I would not be able to afford to go. Anymore
