Disney Releases New Series of Kid-Friendly Star Wars Animated Shorts Online
For avid Star Wars fans looking to pass your love of the franchise on to your little ones, we can’t think of a better way than with Disney’s new Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures. This series of kid-friendly animated shorts were released today on the StarWarsKids.com website and via Disney’s YouTube channel where guests will be introduced to all of the important characters from a Galaxy Far, Far Away. At launch, six shorts have been released.
The new venture is being dubbed “Star Wars Kids” and is aimed at a brand new generation of fans! The first six shorts combine original dialogue, sound effects, bold new animations, music and interactive and educational add-ons designed to help families come together to enjoy this all-new Star Wars experience.
James Waugh, Lucasfilm’s vice president had this to say about the new offering, “With Galaxy of Adventures, we wanted to craft something that allowed parents to help their kids take their first step into a much larger world whether they were ready to show their kids the films or wanted to find new ways to explore the content.”
