Celebrate Mickey with Eight Delicious Mickey-Shaped Treats
Yesterday was Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday kicking off an entire year of celebrations! To celebrate the Big Cheese’s birthday, I have put together a list with eight of the most popular Mickey-shaped treats and where to find them. I mean savory or sweet, everything takes better when it’s in the shape of Mickey, right?!
1. Mickey Macaron
The Mickey Macaron is one of the newest additions to the Mickey-shaped food lineup. This light and tasty treat can be found on both coasts in Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort.
If you find yourself on the East Coast at the Disneyland Resort, head over to the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café. Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure offers a frozen version, in the form of an ice cream sandwich.
2. Character Dome Cake
One of my favorite sweet snacks at Walt Disney World is the Character Dome Cake found at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs. This mousse based cake is the perfect treat to bring back to family and friends after your visit to Walt Disney World.
3. Mickey Pretzel
On the savory side, the Mickey Pretzel is my favorite! The salted version with a side of cheese dip is my go-to when visiting the Magic Kingdom or any other of the Disney Parks.
These popular pretzels can be purchased at various locations throughout Walt Disney World including The Lunching Pad in the Magic Kingdom, Sleepy Hollow in the Magic Kingdom, Gaston’s Tavern in the Magic Kingdom, Prince Eric’s Village Market in the Magic Kingdom, Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Epcot, Sommerfest in Epcot, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Disney Springs, and The Polite Pig in Disney Springs.
At the Disneyland Resort, guests can sink their teeth into the Mickey Pretzel at the various pretzel stands throughout Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
4. Mickey Mouse Waffles
Is there any better way to start your day than with a Mickey Waffle? I think not! Mickey Mouse Waffles can be found at most locations that serve breakfast throughout both Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort.
5. Mickey Ice Cream Bar
I’d be willing to bet there is no more iconic Mickey-shape treat than the Mickey Ice Cream Bar. You can never go wrong with vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate and shaped like Mickey, right?!
Make sure to head over to one of the various frozen treat carts in both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World to cool off with one on a hot day!
6. Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwich
Another way to cool down on a hot day at Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort is with a Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwich. Just like the Mickey Ice Crea Bars, the Ice Cream Sandwiches can be found at one of the several frozen treat carts.
7. Mickey Mouse Beignets
You don’t have to travel to New Orleans to try one of these sweet treats – just the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World! The Mickey Mouse Beignets feature a donut-like pastry sprinkled in powder sugar.
Enjoy one with a mint julep or a cup of coffee at the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory in Walt Disney World. At Disneyland, they are sold at the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square.
8. Mickey Crispie Treats
Add a little crunch to your next snack with a Mickey Crispie Treat! With various flavors and varieties, there is a Mickey Crispie Treat waiting out there for everyone!
Mickey Crispie Treats are found at various locations at Walt Disney World including the Main Street Confectionery in the Magic Kingdom, Candy Cauldron in Disney Springs, and Goofy’s Candy Company in Disney Springs. And, if this caramelly drizzled confection looks like the exact Mickey Krispie Treat you’d like to eat, you can grab it at Karamel Küche at Epcot.
These Mickey-shaped sweet treats can be found at various locations throughout the Disneyland Resort including Goofy’s Kitchen and Pooh’s Corner.
