Not-To-Be-Missed Halloween Fun Comes to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World
With the Fall Season in full swing, now is the perfect time to incorporate a Disney Springs visit into your Walt Disney World vacation plans. Disney World’s downtown shopping district has it all from candy, costumes and even special Halloween soirees. If you’ll be visiting during the month of October here are a few ways to add a bit of spooktacular fun to your Disney Springs Halloween visit!
A Halloween Soiree at the Edison – This special ticketed event at Disney’s gothic-industrial nightclub is sure to be the Halloween hit of the season. Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” this special evening promises themed costumes, delicious treats and fantastic entertainment that includes flying aerialists, stilt walking skeletons, and live music. The soiree takes place on Halloween with doors opening at 7:30 pm. The cost to attend is $85 plus tax and gratuity. All guests must be 21 and older. Ticket are now on sale from The Edison here, while supplies last.
Chocolate Pinatas – The Ganachery – Surprise your special someone with Halloween candy that really has that “wow” factor. One of our favorite treats of the season are the chocolate pinates on offer at The Ganachery. These hollow chocolate domes are filled with goodies and come in fun Disney themes like Jack Skellington and Minnie Mouse Witch. Other awesome Halloween treats include chocolate skulls and delicious Autumn ganache flavors like salted caramel, orange cranberry and pumpkin spice latte.
Mickey Pumpkin Macaron – Amorette’s Patisserie – Stop by this incredible Disney Springs bakery to sample a wide array of incredible Halloween treats including the melt-in-your-mouth Mickey Pumpkin Macaron. Unlike the traditional macarons served here, this one comes on a stick making it the perfect treat to enjoy while you window shop. Other must-try Amorette’s offerings include a Fall Harvest Petit Cake made with cinnamon and nutmeg chiffon cake layered with salted caramel mousse, cranberry cherry pate de fruit and roast hazelnuts.
Speciality Apples – Goofy’s Candy Co. – It just wouldn’t be Halloween without candy and this Disney Springs sweet shop definitely delivers. Guests can choose from an impressive array of sweet treats including their incredible speciality apples coming in a range of spooktacular Disney-themes. You’ll also find mummy and pumpkin cake pops, fall cookies, cupcakes and more!
Pumpkin Baileys Irish Coffee – Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant – Celebrate Halloween the Irish way with this comforting hot beverage made with fresh espresso, whipped creme and Baileys Pumpkin Spice. It pairs perfectly with the pumpkin creme brulee tarts also on offer here.
Boo Box – Sprinkles- Looking for the perfect treat for your office or a way to surprise the whole family? Pick up a book box at this cupcake bakery. You can choose from a variety of Fall flavors like pumpkin or caramel apple.
Autumn Smash – D-Luxe Burger – If you are looking for a cocktail to put you in the Halloween mood this tasty libation is just the ticket. The cocktail is made with spiced rum, lemon juice, peach nectar, simple syrup and a touch of cinnamon.
Dress the Part- Looking to add some fun Halloween pieces to your wardrobe or put together an enviable costume? Disney Springs has a range of stylish options. You’ll find a robust selection of princess pirate and superhero costumes at The Disney Corner. If you want a more subtle way to show your Halloween spirit head to Disney Style where you’ll find outfits inspired by some of your favorite Disney characters. There’s also the Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane where retro designs can add a bit of Disney flair to your wardrobe.
Capture the Moment – If you are looking for the perfect way to preserve those Disney World Halloween moments, we suggest a visit to the Disney PhotoPass Studios. The Studio has unveiled a range of fun Halloween backdrops that are perfect for those family photos!
Dance to the Beat of a Zombie Drum- The Zombeats Drum Corps will hold performances at Disney Springs throughout the Halloweens season. Trust us when we say that you won’t want to miss this zombie-filled troupe of percussionists.
