Halloween Photos You Need To Take at Disneyland Resort
October is upon us and while there is no chill in the air, the spirit of Halloween is in full effect at the Disney Parks. The streets are dripping in pumpkins, candy corn ears, and seasonal popcorn buckets.
Mickey’s Halloween Party takes over Disney California Adventure Park with trick or treating guests and unique character meet and greets. The Frightfully Fun Parade and Halloween Screams Fireworks guarantee a “spook-tacular” time for the young and the young at heart.
Celebrating the Halloween season at the Disneyland resort is something you will want to remember for years to come. What better way to remember than with some festive photos of your own? Here is a list of Halloween photos you will want to take at the Disneyland Resort.
1. Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park
Upon entering Disneyland, you’ll be greeted by a giant Mickey Mouse jack-o-lantern as well as a beautiful bed of seasonal flowers. If this photo op doesn’t capture nostalgia and Halloween all in one shot, I don’t know what could!
2. Characters in Costume
Along Buena Vista Street, at Disney California Adventure, you can find Mickey and the gang donning their Halloween attire. Tell our favorite Mouse to say “cheese” and grab the perfect, festive memory with the original gang.
3. Disney + Food = Insta-Worthy
There are always new eats and treats popping up at Disney Parks and that is especially true around the holidays. From cupcakes to milkshakes and anything in-between, there is something out there to please your palate (and your social media account).
4. Specialty Meet and Greets
There are a variety of characters you will find roaming the parks throughout the year. However, certain holidays bring out some special characters for a limited-time. In particular, Disneyland showcases some of the Disney realm’s most evil villains including Maleficent, Cruella, Queen Grimhilde, Hades, Govenor Ratcliffe, Queen of Hearts, and Jafar. While some of these characters are exclusive to Mickey’s Halloween Party there are a few who will make appearances during the day.
5. Seasonal Decor
No “nook or cranny” is overlooked when it comes to decorating at the Disney Parks. From larger-than-life displays to holiday-themed overlays for select attractions, everyone and everything gets in the “spooky” spirit.

6. Spooky Souvenirs
Flash a smile with some of the festive merchandise around the parks. There are plenty of souvenirs to choose from, your only problem will be picking which ones you like best.
Regardless of how you choose to celebrate Halloween, make sure you take the time to stop and smile for the camera. You will want to cherish the memories of your Disney Halloween celebration for years to come!
