Check Out the Colorful Details Being Added to Centertown Market at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort one of Disney’s most-loved moderate properties has been undergoing a lengthy refurbishment process that will include upgrades to the lobby and other central amenities, al fresco dining, and ultimately a station connecting guests to Disney World’s newest form of transportation – the Skyliner system! Starting this fall, the Old Port Royal will also open at Caribbean Beach which includes the newly expanded Centertown Market.
This new Quick Service eatery is designed as an indoor street market and will be full of incredible colors and details from the Caribbean like this wall mural which will have pride of place at the Centertown Market.
According to the incredible team at Walt Disney Imagineering responsible for bringing Centertown Market to life, you may find a mural like this in a local marketplace building in the Caribbean. This particular mural depicts a street parade complete with music and colorful costumes made with feathers and hand-cut fringed crepe paper.
In addition to this fantastic eatery opening this fall, there’s also Sebastian’s Bistro, a Table Service location at Caribbean Beach that has its own fantastic Caribbean accents including a hand-painted fish floating at the restaurant’s entrance.
These are just a few of the exciting changes coming to Disney’s Caribbean Resort. Keep following along with MickeyBlog for the latest refurbishment updates!
