The Walt Disney World FastPasses You Must Have
Whether you are planning your first trip or your fifty first trip to Walt Disney World, one thing is certain- you must go with a plan! The introduction of Disney’s advance FastPass system has made pre-planning your Disney vacation exciting, not to mention it has become instrumental in making sure that you don’t miss those must-see attractions.
How it Works
Guests staying on Disney property will have access to FastPass selections 60 days prior to their check-in date, while most guests staying in resorts not on Disney property will have access to those advanced FastPass selections at their 30 day mark. FastPass selections can easily be made online in your MyDisneyExperience account, so make sure that this is set up well in advance of your FastPass date. It’s important to note that advanced FastPass reservations may only be made in one park per day, so, if you are park hopping, you’ll need to prioritize which park you’d like to use your advanced FastPasses for. It’s also important to note that, while you are visiting the parks, once your advanced FastPasses are used up for the day, you can continue to secure FastPasses one at a time for the rest of the day in any park you are visiting. These can be done in your MyDisneyExperience app or at one of the many kiosks available in the parks.
Which Attractions Should I Use a FastPass For?
Historically, Disney fanatics know that in each park, there are certain attractions for which the stand-by line gets pretty long. These are the attractions you’ll want to make sure you have a FastPass for. Disney addicts also know that the crowds are the thinnest in the morning with wait times growing as the day goes on. Arrive at the theme parks early and ride what you can with minimum waits. Schedule your FastPasses in the afternoon. In EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you will be asked to choose one attraction from Tier 1 and two attractions from Tier 2. This is reflected below.
7 Dwarfs Mine Train
Peter Pan’s Flight
(Runner Up: Enchanted Tales with Belle)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
You’ll now have to choose between Toy Story Mania & Slinky Dog Dash
Tower of Terror
Rock n Roller Coaster
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Avatar Flight of Passage
You’ll have to choose between Frozen, Soarin’ or Test Track
Planning your Disney vacation should be a magical experience. By selecting your FastPasses prior to your arrival, you will have so much fun anticipating your trip. Make sure to try these FastPasses to save you time in the parks!
