The Ultimate Review: Crab Cake Eggs Benedict at Olivia’s Café
A delicious, calm, and underrated place to eat breakfast in Disney World is Olivia’s Café at Old Key West resort. Old Key West is one of the Disney Vacation Club resorts, and has the relaxing vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying in a neighborhood on the beach.
Old Key West has a bright, tropical feel with lots of amenities! One of the best things about this resort is the boat transportation to Disney Springs – this makes it easy to hop over to tons of bars, restaurants, shops, and entertainment!
Olivia’s Café is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While reservations are encouraged, it’s not impossible to walk up for a meal, if you’re willing to potentially wait a bit for a table. Inside, the décor is beach themed with pictures of Disney Vacation Club families on the walls, making you feel right at home if you’re a Disney Vacation Club member or if you’ve been here before.
Today, we’re highlighting the crab cake eggs benedict. It’s an English muffin topped with crab cake (where there’s normally ham in traditional eggs benedict), a sunny-side-up egg, hollandaise, and green onion. On the side, it came with a side of potatoes mixed with cream cheese and onions. The portion size was perfect – not so much that I took home leftovers, but not so little that I was left hungry.
While there are LOTS of excellent items on the Olivia’s Café breakfast menu, I would highly recommend this for crab cake and breakfast lovers!
