Spotlight: Canada Pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase
Just past future world lies a trip around the world. From culture submersion by food and atmosphere to the absolute best place for character meet and greets, the World Showcase is a fun and relaxing walk around the world. Some of the best food across property lies within the Showcase. This full-circle landscape will bring you back to future world regardless of which direction you begin. Remember to grab a times guide upon entrance into the park for the most up-to-date showtimes and character meet and greets! Each pavilion offers something special to the guests of Walt Disney World. This Spotlight series of each pavilion will have you ready and excited for your next trip around the world in one day!
Unless I have a dining reservation along the opposite side of the showcase, I typically begin by travelling through Canada just off to the right! Throughout the day, there is a viewing of O Canada! This is a 14-minute circle-vision 360 degree film dedicated to showcasing Canada. Narrated by Martin Short, this film shows the beautiful land of Canada and Short continues to debunk myths about his homeland.

With the holiday season in full swing at the Walt Disney World Resort, Epcot has enhanced their offerings and one of the latest is Holidays: Canada featuring Canadian Holiday Voyagers. This stage show is some of your favorite holiday classic songs, but they might sound a little different! To fully embrace the culture of Canada, songs are sung in French-Canadian. (This stage-show is ever evolving and changing to reflect Canadian culture and to entertain guests.) Check your times guide to see what will be offered the next time you visit Epcot!

Special thanks to Ashley Dion for writing this article! Former cast member turned annual pass holder, I am a native Michigander who moved her entire life to Orlando, FL to be surrounded by all things Disney. I met my fellow Disney-lover husband while working for the Mouse and now we frequent the Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts as pass holders as often as possible!
