Lava Pool
The Lava Pool offers a slice of Polynesian paradise for everyone in your family. At the Polynesian Village Resort, the water park features a realistic looking, active volcano oozing with lava. There’s children’s play area called Kiki Tikis Splash has two slides, water jets and waterfalls. Also included in this water park is a walking bridge, a semi-secluded hot tub and a 142-foot water slide.
Big Blue Pool
Isn’t it every Disney fans dream to swim with the characters from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory? Well, at the Big Blue Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation, you can. There are giant sculptures of your favorite fishy friends incorporated into the pool’s design. Swim with Nemo and Dory as you listen to some of your favorite Disney songs through underwater speakers. Not only is this one of the largest pools on the Disney Property, there are other activities for all ages. There’s a Schoolyard Sprayground, a water-play area for the little ones. For the kids who don’t want to get wet, they can play with Squirt the sea turtle by the coral reef. For the adults in the group, head over to the Drop Off Pool Bar for the perfect poolside cocktail.
Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool
Surf’s up at Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool. You will absolutely feel the motion of the ocean at this water park. The largest wave pool in North America, the swells there can reach up to 6-feet high. Be swept away by the swells in the water. Dive in at the deep end or play in the shallow end with gentle waves. Bear in mind to keep an eye on the not so strong swimmers in your group, these waves are Big Kahunas.
Luna Park Pool
This carnival-themed pool will take you on a whimsical trip back to boardwalks of the 1920’s. Vintage show posters decorate the pool area. The Keister Coaster looks just like a roller coaster from a amusement park, but is actually a 200-foot-long water slide with a giant clown face as the exit of the slide. The pool has adorable elephant statues that spray water from their trunks. And for the adults, there’s bar shaped like a carousel. Canonball dive into the nostalgic and fun waters of the Luna Park Pool.
StormAlong Bay
If you’re over by Disney’s Beach Club or Yacht Club, you’ll definitely want to spend the day at StormAlong Bay. This beach side wonderland is 3 acres of fun for the whole family. The pool is gorgeous and has a soft sand bottom to make you feel like you’re actually in the ocean. There’s even a lazy river to relax in. At the center of it all is a shipwrecked boat with a 230-foot-long water slide. If you want soak up some sun, check out the elevated tanning deck. StormAlong Bay also has a pool to play water volleyball in, three whirlpool spas to escape to and an ample supply of chairs for lounging.
