Disney Cruise Line adds Rapunzel Themed Restaurant
Great news for Tangled fans! The Disney Magic cruise ship will be adding a Rapunzel themed restaurant on their ship in March 2018! Rapunzel’s Magic Table will bring you to the land of Corona while onboard the Disney Magic cruise ship. Expect to be delighted as you dine with Rapunzel herself, and maybe even Flynn Rider. “The King and Queen of Corona invite everyone to take part in a festive celebration of Rapunzel’s birthday and the anniversary of her return to the kingdom,” Disney said.
The Rapunzel Dining Room
The dining room will be designed to resemble parts from the movie, like the lanterns that were launched into the sky in that iconic scene, some of Rapunzel’s art and some snuggly duckling thugs walking around. You will certainly get the Royal treatment while you dine! Although we’re unsure of the dishes that will be on the menu, we can only hope that Rapunzel’s favorite, Hazelnut soup, is on the menu.
The Rapunzel Entertainment
As for the entertainment, Disney says you can expect singing and dancing and a merry band of musicians, and some reports have even talked of a merry parade to accompany your meal. The restaurant will be replacing Carioca’s onboard the cruise ship. As for other revamps on the Disney Magic cruise ship, you can expect a cool new teen club! Virtual reality video games, smoothie and coffee bars, movie making and DJing are new activities you can look forward to in this club for 14-17 year olds. They’re also adding Club Disney Junior in their Oceaneers Club for children. As for adult fun, the Cove Cafe will be redesigned as a tropical paradise and a Rainforest room with steam and hydrotherapy will be added in the Senses Spa.
