Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is in full-swing in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. When the sun goes down, the fun turns up. The castle is lit with frosty lights and snowflakes, and the park takes on an even more magical feeling than it does in the light of day. All of the Pals come out to make this party that only comes once a year, spectacular!
What You Need to Know
Starting November 9th and running until December 22nd, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a holiday tradition that is special for Disney fans of all ages. As you walk into the park you are greeted with a grand, colorful, twinkling tree, and the sound of magical music of the season. You get a chill, despite the Florida weather. As you pass the tree, the castle is front-and-center and breathtaking, glowing with silvery lights. Lights twinkle all over the park, everywhere is decorated with wreaths and ribbons, glistening snow, and ornaments. It is as if Elsa and Santa worked together to decorate the park for the holidays.
There are shows and surprises all over the park. In Tomorrowland Buzz Lightyear and Mike Wazowski teach Stich the meaning of Christmas. Bring out your best moves for Character Dance Parties. You’ll notice that your favorite rides are also dressed-up for the holiday celebration! Everywhere you look, its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Mickey and all his pals are dressed in their holiday best. You can hug and take pictures with your favorite Disney Pals. You can even get their autographs!
Complimentary Beverages and Treats
There are locations dotted throughout the park with complimentary beverages and treats. Keep an eye out for Tortuga Tavern, Liberty Square Ticket Offie, The Friar’s Nook, Pete’s Silly Sideshow, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, and Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies. In Tortuga you will find Snowman Soft Pretzels and Sno-Cones. Liberty Square brings you back to memories of grandmother and her famous Ginger Molasses Cookies and Eggnog. The Friar offers Dove (r) Chocolate and Sparkling Apple Cider. Go to Pete’s Silly Sideshow for a Peppermint Crunch Cookie and Nestle (r) Nesquik (r). Head to Tomorrow Land to Get a Snickerdoodle and a warm, rich Hot Chocolate. Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies gives gifts of Santa Cookies and Sno-Cones! (Healthy and gluten-free available upon request).
As if you could possibly use more sweets, there are also two “premium” dessert packages. Imagine, a dessert and the perfect view of the fireworks over the castle. Reserve a seat at either the Tomorrowland Terrace, or the Plaza Garden. Both require a reservation, but boy, oh boy, is it worth it. These two viewing parties come along with endless dessert buffets. Fireworks and endless dessert, does it get any better?
