Disney’s All Star Resort Options
For guests and families that are looking for the full Walt Disney World experience and still stay on a low budget, Disney’s All-Star Resort options are typically very accommodating. Disney’s All-Star Music, Disney’s All-Star Sports, and Disney’s All-Star Movies resorts are all considered to be a great value while still offering incomparable service, comfort, and convenience. Disney’s All-Star Resorts feature enormous Disney icons, vivid color schemes, and amenities such as swimming pools, food courts, and recreational activities. The standard rooms hold a maximum of four people while family suites offer a maximum occupancy of six guests. Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
All- Star Music is home to oversized musical instruments, symbols, and dance and song inspired themes. Rock Inn, Broadway Hotel, Jazz Inn, Calypso, and Country Fair represent the five musically inspired buildings. Guests will encounter a walk-through neon juke box, a jumbo drum set, a colorful bridge created by xylophone keys, and other larger than life icons.
Dining: Although there is no full service dining restaurant at All-Star Music or any of the All-Star value hotels, the resort offers guests a quick service option and room service. The Intermission Food Court is a five hundred seat quick service choice that offers burgers, pasta, pizza, nachos, quesadillas, and other quick and tasty options. Pizza and other specialties are also available for delivery directly to your room with the room service option.
Recreation: Disney’s All-Star Music resort offers two uniquely themes pools, each showcasing the musical aura of the hotel. The Three Caballeros represent the centerpiece fountain of the Calypso Pool. Donald Duck, Panchito, and Jose Carioca spray and shoot water around the guitar shaped pool, as maracas and bongos circle the outer most shore. A smaller pool can be found nearby for youngest guests. The Calypso Pool is the location of Movies Under the Stars at All-Star Music. Disney films are screened here on specified nights and complimentary to all resort guests. The Piano Pool is the second pool found here, complete with a keyboard deck. The Note’able Games Arcade is available to guests right beside the Intermission Food Court. The arcade offers more than one thousand five hundred games to select from. Game cards can be purchased and used at this arcade and others found on the Walt Disney World property. Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
All-Star Sports immerses guests into the wide world of competition, sports, and fan experiences. The Center Court, Hoops, Surfs Up, Touchdown, and Home Run buildings create a resort unique to Disney and sports lovers. Represented by football, baseball, basketball, tennis, and surfing, this competitive resort is one that will surely score high with guests. Classic Disney characters are found among the sports themed buildings and décor throughout the hotel. Bright colors and oversized sports equipment paint the property along with familiar sports accessories like whistles and megaphones.
Dining: In addition to room service, All-Star Sports offers a quick service sit down known to guests as the End Zone Food Court. Disney cartoons and sporting events are played at all times on the food court’s many TV’s found along the walls. Guests can choose from well-known ballpark foods such as burgers, hot dogs, and pizza or create their very own pasta dishes. Gelato and smoothie drinks are available in addition.
Recreation: Two pools are found on site of All-Star Sports. The first, known as Surfboard Bay, is designed to give guests a beach like experience. The pool resembles a typical swimming hole and is lined with large surfboards. A kiddie pool is available to guests just behind the Stadium Hall. The Grand Slam features a baseball diamond shaped pool that displays Goofy on a pitching mound streaming with water. The pool is based around three-story baseball bats and an outfield styled sun deck. A playground can be found near the Touchdown building for children looking to play around without getting in the pools. All-Star Sports also offers a one-mile jogging trail around the resort. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
All-Star Movies represents the third and final All-Star resort located on the grounds of Walt Disney World. The resort features the magic and excitement of classic Disney films. The resort includes Fantasia, Toy Story, The Mighty Ducks, 101 Dalmatians, and Herbie: The Love Bug themed buildings. Each area includes giant characters from the perspective movies. Guests will encounter a gigantic Sorcerer Mickey and his sorcerers hat, Buzz Lightyear and Woody, Herbie the WV Beetle, and many other fun characters and icons from these five movies.
Dining: The World Premiere Food Court is All-Star Movies’ quick service dining option. The Rialto, Majestic, Lyric, Roxy, and Grand food court stations are open daily for all resort guests. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the food court. Sandwiches, salads, fruits, pizza, chicken, pasta, and specials are available at each site. Room service also is available from five p.m. until midnight.
Recreation: This resort was created in great similarity to her sisters All-Star Music and All-Star Sports. It offers two uniquely themed pools, one themed as a Duck Pond, and the other as Fantasia. The Duck Pond is designed as a hockey rink and features theming from The Mighty Ducks series. The Fantasia pool, located between Cinema Hall and the Fantasia themed building, features Sorcerer Mickey himself. Guests will be sprayed with water and encouraged to splash around in the pool supposedly created by the spillage of the oversize mop buckets. Similar to the other two All-Star resorts, All-Star Movies includes a jogging trail, a children’s playground, and a Reel of Fun Arcade found in the Cinema Hall.
